EXCLUSIVE: Legendary Television is developing a true-crime drama series about the relationship between novelist Norman Mailer and killer Jack Henry Abbott, with Boyd Holbrook set to star.

Narcos star Holbrook will play convicted murderer Abbott in Executioner, which comes from Warrior writer Anthony Tambakis and Minamata filmmaker Andew Levitas.

Disney has announced today that the fifth Indiana Jones installment recieved a new release date. The flick, previously set to hit the cinemas on July 29, 2022, will now come out on June 30, 2023, as published by Variety:

Along with the deluge of Marvel delays, Disney has moved the fifth “Indiana Jones” installment back nearly a year. The still-untitled film, starring Harrison Ford as the fedora-wearing, swashbuckling archaeologist, will open on June 30, 2023 instead of July 29, 2022.

The yet untitled movie, starring Boyd Holbrook, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas, is currently being filmed in Sicily, Italy.

Neil Gaiman’s DC comic book series is finally getting an adaptation, and Boyd will play “an escaped nightmare who wishes to taste all that the world has in store.” More below:

It seems like forever, but the wait is about to an end. The anticipated Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s popular comic book series The Sandman is coming together. Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry and Sanjeev Bhaskar have been set to star in the dark fantasy series based on the DC comics.

The cast also features Eastenders alum and recent Order of the British Empire recipient Nina Wadia as The Mother, one of the three Fates in the comics who are beyond the control of the title character AKA the Dream King.

The series is described as a rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven”. The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he tries to fix all the cosmic and human mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.
