Disney has announced today that the fifth Indiana Jones installment recieved a new release date. The flick, previously set to hit the cinemas on July 29, 2022, will now come out on June 30, 2023, as published by Variety:
Along with the deluge of Marvel delays, Disney has moved the fifth “Indiana Jones” installment back nearly a year. The still-untitled film, starring Harrison Ford as the fedora-wearing, swashbuckling archaeologist, will open on June 30, 2023 instead of July 29, 2022.
The yet untitled movie, starring Boyd Holbrook, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas, is currently being filmed in Sicily, Italy.
Boyd Holbrook has been seen this week on the set of Indiana Jones 5 located in Glasgow city center, which was transformed into 1960s New York where a parade for Apollo astronauts takes place. He and doubles for himself and Harrison Ford recorded a chase scene.
